Shimu's Showcase no.6: My First Styling

It's not perfect, it should not happen, it's more like an accident but i like it ! This is my first styling for a column in Harper's BAZAAR this month (the text in the picture is not correct). All the project begin accidentally and within a limit of time. I just pulled things of in a day. For the quality ? I'll let you guys decide.

Juliette Has a Gun

This is actually should be in Niki's Beyond Jealous blog because it's about beauty. Instead it's end up here (because I found it first, haha). We're talking about a really cool fragrance brand from Romano Ricci (the cute guy on 2nd & 3rd pict), a great grandson of Nina Ricci. And their first presenter (except himself) is our all time muse, Lou Doillon !! The brand play with the concept that if Juliette has a gun, what she will be like ? Well, she would be a girl who's charm and strength is her secret weapon. Like a girl who would carry a bullet-liked-perfume in her purse.

Happy 120th Anniversary to Lanvin!!

120 years ago, Jeanne Lanvin arrives at 22 rue du faubourg Saint Honore as a hat maker (milliner). She make very beautiful clothes for her daughter that they began to attracted wealthy people who want copies for their own children. Then she start making clothes for the mother and the house become well know as mother-and-daughter outfit. I think that's why the label is the picture of mother and daughter.

Now in 2009 Alber Elbaz capture the soul of the brand and produce 7 porcelain dolls from his drawing to celebrate the brand birthday!!
